Breaking Down Brick Walls with Location Based Genealogy

I was fortunate to attend three workshops on Location Based Genealogy conducted by Mr. Bernie Gracy during the recent 2010 Atlanta Family History Expos. Now Mr. Gracy has placed some of his talk on YouTube.

Enjoy!

This is very useful information for all of us to gain more information about who our ancestors were through the power of location.

The third lecture us of special interest to me with my grandmother's line. Everyone was friendly. Toronto West - living within a couple of miles of each other. Of special interest is one uncle who left Canada and his family, changed his name, left his wife from the same district in Toronto, for the U.S. Now,I will check marriage recordsin the U.S. to see if he remarried there.
